Let me just tell you what a wonderful idea candyswappers is. Today I recieved my package of goodies. I was so excited that I couldn’t even get the package open. Jennifer from Katy TX sent some really cool stuff.
I recieved Texas Fire Wheels, Texas Brags, Armadillo Egg, an apple flavored lollipop with a worm in it and Reese’s PB Eggs. We ( I decided I would be good and shared with Brian) dug in right away. Yummy stuff by the way. Roo even got in on the action.
Friday night was all about roller derby! 
Brian and I saw the Boston Derby Dames….The Cosmonaughties, The Nutcrackers, and The Wicked Pissahs. This bout was the start of the season and was amazing. We took a ton of pictures and I can’t wait till the next bout! 
 
Alright, this blogging thing is kind of weird for me. I never know what to right . I’m sure the more I post the easier it will become. Anyway, here is a picture of some pink bracelets I made yesterday. I will probably never wear these ( I really only wear the bracelet Brian gave me for valentines a few years back ) but they are kind of nice anyway don’t you think?
Pink Tote bag
I just joined Project Spectrum. There is a color theme for each month and March is red and pink. I thought that I would begin with a pink tote bag. Anybody that knows me knows that one of my obsessions is bags. This was my first project on my new sewing machine!
I finally decided that it was time to create a little world all my own. I don’t have all that much to write about at the moment, but I plan on sharing my adventures in knitting, sewing, painting, photography and of course baking cupcakes! Of course my kitty will also be a regular on this as well. I guess whatever pops into my head will, in one form or another, end up here.
