Secret pal questionaire
I recently signed up for the One Skein Secret Pal Exchange. I’m so excited. Hopefully this experience will help with my lack of blogging.Â
Here’s the mandatory questionnaire…
1.      Which yarn is most like your personality (you can be specific or general with your answer- brand, type, color, fiber, whatever)? Rowan, wool cotton, anything pink, mohair…..
2.      What is your favorite color yarn to knit/crochet with? Pink, Lime green….that’s a hard one. I just love color too much.
3.      Have you ever used variegated, or magic, yarns? Love variegated
4.      Do you tend to favor certain fibers when choosing yarns? I love all yarn
5.      Do you prefer to work with center-pull or traditionally wound balls of yarn? traditionally wound
6.      Have you ever worked with organic yarns or are you interested in trying them? I have yet to work with organic yarns but would love to.
7.      How many and what projects have you made in the last year? A number…who knows. Dishcloths, hats. scarves, cactus, slippers, and of course cupcakes! Oh yeah and one sock (LOL)!
8.      Will you be knitting any gifts this year? Absolutely
9.      What is your favorite one skein project? The cupcake of course! I also love the tank top, the felted bowls and “The Clutch You’ll Never Give UP”. I hope I didn’t have to pick just one!
10.  How much yarn do you have in your stash and how do you store it? Right now I have a pretty good stash going. If I see pretty yarn I need to give it a home. I store my yarn in a bag that my comforter came in from Pottery Barn. It may not be the best thing but it works.
11.  Do you have a yarn in your stash that you love so much you can never use it or part with it? Yes a single yellow skein of mohair.
12.  Do you knit less or differently in the summer? I knit about the same in the summer , but tend to work on smaller items that will travel easily to the beach or park.
13.  Do you belong to any knitting groups (online or offline)?  Project Spectrum… it’s not exclusively knitting but I think it counts. I’m also looking to start a group in my area.
