knitted baby booties and baby bottle cozie for Madison

Filed under: Uncategorized, knitting projects — Kate @ 9:10 pm

our friend’s baby girl Madison was runner up for the Cute Baby Photo contest and we were so excited to make her all kinds of things.

First, the knitted baby booties use the same pattern as the tan ones we made for our neighbors baby. I used a different technique on the white trim and I think they came out way better. I used a double strand for the white and used a kind of improvised lazy-daisy stitch on it.

Then I made this great bottle cozie that she loves. It was super easy to knit. I used Sugar and Cream cotton.

  2. They are from an episode of Knitty Gritty. You can find the pattern here: http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/na_knitting/article/0,,diy_14141_3148516,00.htm
