Big Pink Cupcake

I am such a bad blogger….but in my own defense work has been a complete nightmare and i have had no time or energy to do much of anything. However last week I received the  most wonderful  package from Cassie.  It was cupcake insanity!  Like christmas all over again.

  I received a wonderful  cupcake  book, a cupcake bath bomb and vanilla cupcake candles!  Then there was the cutest Hello Kitty box filled with lip gloss ( vanilla frosting), mini cupcake liners, ribbon (with cupcakes and candy on it), little cupcake earings, cupcake transfers, cupcake buttons and some Hello Kitty pictures.  Cassie also made the sweetest barretts (little  cupcakes of course), a little ornament that I absolutely adore and  a little  pouch with a  very cute  cupcake  on  it that  fits my  ipod :)  I can’t thank Cassie enough.  She put so much thought into this package.

one of my friends and coworkers last day was friday *tear.  i’m really going to miss working with her. She has decided to concentrate on school -she’s a second year at salem state.  so of course i had to make cupcakes.

i was having mixer trouble and the turned out pretty dense but everyone liked them just the same.  sarah i will miss you and you better visit!

I can’t believe it’s January already.

Okay, I have never been one to make New Year’s Resolutions but this year I thought I would have some goals for 2008.

1. Learn to speak Spanish

2. cook more - I would like to do a recipe a week from Apples for Jam: A Colorful Cookbook (However I will not do any veal recipes)
3. Watch less TV

4. Reorganize and declutter

5. Take pictures everyday and post them here and/or on Flickr

I will probably add more but for now this will do for now.

Here’s to a great 2008!

It’s a new year and while we skipped doing formal New Years resolutions we both have some shared goals. Two that we’re planning on are cooking more and following the Weight Watchers plan. We’re both lifetime members but have slipped and need to get back on track.

It’s going to be difficult two balance these if I keep coming across recipies as yummy sounding as the Donut Muffin recipe.

I don’t even know how I would begin to find the points value for that, but I’m sure it’s worth a weeks in flex points. Better save up.
