St Paddys Day Beer Bread Loaf
This is a loaf of our special St. Paddy’s Day Bread made with a bottle of Guinness Extra Stout. We made this using this great Ale Bread recipe.
It came out delicious. The Guinness Extra Stout gave it a unique smell and flavor. We put a lot of scallions in and I was concerned the taste would bother me but they are barely noticable. The cheese is a great touch.
The recipe was really easy to make and I’m definatly going to experiment with different types of beer. Next I’ll try a Hefeweizen, probably Magic Hat’s Circus Boy. After that hopefully I’ll have a nice home brew and then I’ll get to see how the leftover yeast effects the baking process.
